​General Info:

​

Our season starts on August 4th 2025 and can go until Early December if teams make it to Nationals.

 

Practices will be Monday-Thursday from 6-8 pm at the Longhorns Field until the start of the school year. Once school starts practices will be moved to Tuesday and Thursday nights at various locations including the field and various indoor locations.

 

We welcome cheerleaders ages 4-13 in the Perkiomen Valley, Spring Ford, Boyertown and Pottstown School Districts.

Registration cost includes: Sideline Uniforms, Bows, Practice Space and Competition Fees. Mitey Mite, JPW, PW and JV cheerleaders will purchase their competition uniforms at a separate cost.

 

All Lower Perk Longhorn Cheerleaders will be expected to participate in game day sideline cheer as well as competition cheer.

 

Cheerleading is a team sport and each individual cheerleader plays a pivotal role in the teams success. Cheerleaders are expected to be at every game and every practice.

Ages:

​

Each cheerleaders’ “league age” is based on how old they are on July 31st of the current year.​

• Junior Tiny Mite 

  • 4 Years Old

  • Focus on introduction to cheer, fundamentals of sideline cheer and team building

  • Will join sister squads to cheer at 4 home games throughout the season.

  • Practice 1x per week for 1 hour.

 

• Tiny Mite 

  • 5-7 years old 

  • Sideline Cheer during football games 1x per weekend

  • Exhibition at BuxMont State Competition

  • Practice 2x per week after August Camp 

    • Please note coach may add additional practices as exhibition approach​

 

• Mitey Mite 

  • 7-9 years old

  • Sideline Cheer during football games 1x per weekend through Championship Games

  • Compete at BuxMont State Competition with the option to advance to Regionals and Nationals. 

  • 2 local competitions

  • Practice 2x per week after August Camp 

    • Please note coach may add additional practices as competitions approach​

• Junior Pee Wee 

  • 8-11 years old

  • Sideline Cheer during football games 1x per weekend through Championship Games

  • Compete at BuxMont State Competition with the option to advance to Regionals and Nationals. 

  • 2 local competitions

  • Practice 2x per week after August Camp

• Pee Wee 

  • 9-12 years old

  • Sideline Cheer during football games 1x per weekend through Championship Games

  • Compete at BuxMont State Competition with the option to advance to Regionals and Nationals. 

  • 2 local competitions

  • Practice 2x per week after August Camp

• ​Jr. Varsity 

  • 10-13 years old

  • Sideline Cheer during football games 1x per weekend through Championship Games

  • Compete at BuxMont State Competition with the option to advance to Regionals and Nationals. 

  • 2 local competitions

  • Practice 2x per week after August Camp 

    • Please note coach may add additional practices as competitions approach
