About the Lower Perk Longhorns Cheer Program

Practices

All Cheerleaders will start with a 4-day long camp to kick off the new season. The first week of August practice will be Monday-Thursday 6pm-8pm.  This camp is to learn sideline cheers, the basics of cheerleading and get to know your teammates!  We will also be holding an assessment for any cheerleaders who want to be considered for the competition team.

Per Pop Warner standards all cheerleaders are required to complete 20 hours of conditioning prior to learning any jumps, stunts or tumbling.  These hours will be completed in the first weeks of August as a team and will be tracked by the coaches.
